Summer Stripes

Blue and white stripes are the pattern of the summer. I am a guilty lover of this style. Something to know about me is I am obsessed with stripes. Horizontal or vertical I love them all. When I go out shopping I find myself thinking “Oh I like this shirt” but they almost always have one thing in common, stripes. There is my confession of my love for stripes.

My work attire is business casual, although I tend to go a bit dressier. While getting ready for work I saw that it was rainy and gloomy outside, so I decided I would bring some sunshine to my outfit. Blue is a pleasant color that is perfect for warm or cool weather. The shirt I am wearing has vertical stripes and buttons up. I bought this shirt at Loft a long time ago but just reworked it into my closet. I bought this skirt almost 4 years ago at Forever 21 and didn’t wear it that much until now. Its material is very soft and comfy that it could be dressed up or down. My shoes are a pair of brown wedges that are a bit more like platform shoes than wedges. They have a white lining on the bottom that adds an interesting twist. I would highly recommend this brand. The brand is Kork-Ease and one of the most comfortable heels I have had in a long time. While the brand is a bit of an investment, I can tell the leather is really strong. Finally I added this gold bracelet to bring a pop of color. I will admit this bracelet is not mine it is actually my mothers, but when I saw it I fell in love with it immediately. It fits more like a bangle and I love the unique opening on the top. I was really pleased with this outfit today. This outfit is lightweight and a perfect option for work or a cute dinner out with friends. Let me know what you think!

I will post links to the items and similar ones!
