Hello lovelies, I am so excited to share this fun post with you. Yesterday was the biggest football game of the year, the Tommie Johnnie game!
All of my friends came over super early in the morning to start celebrating our team. It was such a fun day because instead of having it at our own field we played at Target field in downtown Minneapolis.
My friends put together such cute outfits I wanted to show you them to give you ideas. A lot of these shirts and outfits were made by the girls themselves. I helped a couple of my friends put together their outfits which turned out so cute.
Wearing your school colors and logo is always fun, but lets spice it up with some metallic. This combination is a fun way to wear something a little bit different.
This is Tene, and I loved the way that she put her outfit together. It was something different from what everyone else was wearing. She represented with the St Thomas colors, but added her own flair.
This was one of the most common ways I saw students wearing St Thomas t-shirts. I was helping a couple of my friends cut their tops into this look. Here is a link to a youtube video that I followed to cut my friend Annie’s top like this stye.
I loved the way my friend Del styled her outfit. Her top was so cute and fun and pairing it with a tennis skirt made it look super sporty.
Yes you read that title correctly. St. Thomas loves to hand out free things to the students and last year they handed out bookcases. So my friend Sofi and I decided to wear them as tube tops. It was so funny to see how tiny they were on and off our bodies. I loved this top it was super light weight. What do you think of the bookcase top?
Another idea is just going to your bookstore and chopping up one of their basic t-shirts. Many of my friends cut their shirts into crop tops or cutting out the collars of t-shirts. I have to say my friends got super creative with their shirts. Here are some ideas on what you could do with your school t-shirts.
Below Annie (on the right) had a super cute mesh top on with the purple tube top that I made for her underneath. I love that she added some gold to create a pop of color! You really can never go wrong with gold.
This was such a fun weekend and such cute outfits that my friends put together. HUGE thanks to my amazing friends for letting me put their pictures up. Here are some more styles!
What I love most about these outfits is that we didn’t need to spend $40 on a premade t-shirt. These girls simply used a t-shirt our school gives us for free (which UST gives out soooooo many t-shirts) or bought an inexpensive one at the bookstore. The creativity in my group was unreal.
What do you think of these looks?
Thank you so much for reading!
